About the Artist

Olga Shiller is a Los Angeles based artist working in Fine Arts and the mural form of art. Olga also has 20+ years experience of work in Photography (photojournalism and commercial photography), as well as 10+ years in the design field. For over a decade, she has been an art director for a few US fashion brands.

But Olga's most profound and preferred statement of art is through Oil Painting.  


Olga Shiller is a third generation professional artist, member of the Union of Artists of Russia, and a winner of the Young Art Specialists' competition. This award was signed by the governor of Saint-Petersburg in 2003. Her work has been published and is displayed in several museums, galleries and private collections all over the world.


Olga was born in cold Siberia where her grandparents were exiled by Stalin during World War II. From early childhood, Olga exhibited exceptional talent in drawing and painting. She participated in her first exhibit when she was only two years old.

Later, while attending public school she also studied at the Youth School of Art for six years in the small Siberian town of Barnaul. She was recognized there as one of the school’s best students. 


In addition, Olga studied the art of photography, participated in several competitions, won prizes, and earned jury recognition.

At the age of seventeen, in post Soviet Siberia,  Olga won a competition and was selected to create and produce a TV show about art for children and teenagers.



Olga received her education in the Academy of Fine Arts in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. She graduated with the highest level of diploma and received a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts. Her diploma work was honored by the State Certification Board which consisted of world class Russian Federation artists and the professors at the Russian Academy of Art.


In 2003 Olga was selected by St.Petersburg to participate in a large-scale municipal architectural project. She worked as a team member with the chair of the Art Department of the city and together they successfully designed a significantly large mural project for non commercial city decoration, in the central location of St-Petersburg.


Shortly after moving to California, Olga Shiller was granted US residency in 2006 based on her talents in the field of art. She has been recognized by multiple US institutions, including the Los Angeles Natural History Museum, as an internationally known artist.
